Across Powers Boulevard from the Costco (Powers @ Barnes), the 125,000 square foot, 20 acre POWERS POINTE shopping center has begun to open its first new shops.

The 30,000 square foot anchor, SPROUTS FARMERS MARKET joined by the 5,612 square foot LONGHORN STEAKHOUSE (1st Springs – 4th Co. store) led the race with late May openings.

Right behind them are TOKYO JOE’S and ZOE’S KITCHEN (also opening at Castle Rock’s Promenade). Next to arrive will be TUESDAY MORNING, BENTLEY’S PET STUFF and THE MELT. About to start construction is a new tenant to Colorado Springs, BLAZE PIZZA. The 5-year-old California chain brings a fast baked pizza to your table in three minutes due to their special high temperature ovens. It will probably take you longer to choose from the 40 available toppings.
